This rule can also make your photo look more natural. When using rule of thirds you line up more important objects in the photo with the line or where the lines meet. After using the rule of thirds your picture will be more appealing, natural, and good positioning on your picture. Balancing Elements: Balance is a compositional technique in photography that set images within a frame so that the objects are of equal visual weight. Leading Lines: Leading lines refers to a technique of composition where the viewer of your photos attention is drawn to lines that lead to the main subject of the image. Symmetry: A sense of harmonious and beautiful proportion and balance. Patterns: A pattern is a man-made design or abstract ideas. Viewpoint: The position the camera is in when viewing a scene. Background: The behind the main subject of the photograph. Depth: The distance about the plane of focus where objects appear acceptably sharp in an image. Cropping: To remove unwanted areas from an image.
