What is the rule of thirds? Rule of thirds is a technique people use to make photos more appealing to the eye. The techniques uses lines, 2 vertical lines and 2 horizontal lines, to place the more important images in specific locations that helps the picture look more appealing. This rule can also make your photo look more natural. When using rule of thirds you line up more important objects in the photo with the line or where the lines meet. After using the rule of thirds your picture will be more appealing, natural, and good positioning on your picture. What is exposure? What are the three components? Exposure is the amount of light in a photo. The three components of exposure are shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. What is the difference between a wide and small opening aperture? What's an example of each? A small aperture is when it lets in less light or a small amount of light. A wide aperture is when it has the biggest opening and lets in the most amount of light. What is shutter speed? What is the difference between high and low shutter speed? The shutter speed is the time when the camera sensor is exposed to light and it is also when the camera shutter is open. The difference between low and high shutter speed is that low shutter speed is when the shutter is exposed to lots of light and is usually used in night shootings. High shutter speed is used more to freeze actions. ![]() What is ISO? ISO, which can stand for International Standards Organization, is the light sensitivity rating of a digital image sensor. What three things have you learned about typography?
Three things that I have learned about typography are there are different types of typography, you have to use different element of the text to show details, and that different font can give off different moods like some fonts can be serious and some can be silly. What is the difference between tracking and kerning? The difference between tracking and kerning is that tracking is when the letters are spaced apart and and kerning is when the letters are spaced closely together. What is the difference between typeface/font fyle and font style? The difference between type face and font style is that types face is a particular design while font style is a particular size and weight of a text. What is a ascender? What is a descender? A ascender is a letter that extends above the body of the letter. A descender is a part of a letter that extends under the body of the letter. What is Typography? Typography is arranging a font to create a image. Even though these picture are very different I like these because some are complicated and some are simple. I like these because each defines its own object. I also like the people typography because they make me think of the newspaper which is kind of old time and I like old things. I think they used the text tool and the text bar that makes it able to change the sizing. I also think they used the move tool to move the lettering so they can make the object.
What should you consider when making typography? I think you should consider how you are going to define the major details in the object you are doing like in a face you could maybe use upper cased letters or bold letters to define the depth. Also in the picture with the face that is turned they used lowercase the show the effect of the face turning away and I though that that was good and something you should consider so that you can make sure your audience gets the whole picture. |
